The fireplace was exactly what we wanted to complete the look in our new home! I took one star off because the first time we went to put the glass on the front it shattered, and we had to order a replacement. Christine. FL. Sat Aug 01 2026

Seems well made and easy to put together. The flame sound isn’t realistic but one can turn it off and on. The flames could also be subtler but again a lot of choices. Margaret. Massachusetts. Sun Aug 02 2026

This electric fireplace brings customizable warmth and modern character to your space with a sleek, linear design. Choose between recessed or wall-mounted placement for a streamlined focal point, while 12 flame colors, 12 ember bed hues, three flame speeds, and five brightness levels let you personalize the ambiance. The thermostatic heater delivers up to 5,000 BTUs of supplemental warmth, with independent flame operation for year-round enjoyment. WiFi-enabled controls let you adjust the fireplace settings through a compatible app, Alexa, Google Home, or the included remote.

Just the perfect size for the fireplace wall that we are building. Fake wood inside makes it more realistic than crystals. The only one that I dont like is that its a little noisy. I cant handle this noise for a long time. Still keep it since its visually what I am looking for but if you want a fireplace no noise its not this one.. Oksana. Panama City Beach, FL. It looks surprisingly great and much more realistic than I would’ve expected. It has a great crackling sound. My kiddo loves the blue flames - I prefer the realistic ones haha.. Crystal. Touchstone Sideline steel electric fireplace takes all the features of Touchstone's popular Sideline glass-faced fireplace but brings it to you in a matte black steel face design, ideal for more traditional room settings. In place of the glass face of the standard Sideline, the Sideline steel offers a black steel frame, with the heating element and log set behind a classic fireplace screen, lending to its more classic look. It's ideal for dens, basements, or any room where a standard fireplace is being replaced or was never installed. The Touchstone Sideline steel electric fireplace was designed to meet the needs of contractors and do-it-yourself installers, who are looking for the realistic flame of a Touchstone fireplace mounted flush to a wall. By eliminating the glass surface, the design lends itself to less modern installations. Like standard Sidelines, the heating element is in the front of the fireplace, so the flame and heat vent are situated near each other. Add the metal fire screen to the 5100 BTUs of heat and you have a dramatically realistic flame set, all with no smokey smell or mess of a real fireplace. The Sideline steel has 2 heat settings (high and low) and will heat a room to 400 sq. ft. Also, the fireplace's flame can be used without the heating feature. The Sideline steel is easy to install and comes with simple and understandable instructions.

We love the look and its heat. Installation was easy. We do find we have a burned off propane smell, but we solved this by having an air purifier next to it, makes us feel its safer that way. The propane industry may tell us all its safe to breathe those off gases, but like now known re natural gas, its better to not have those, so I would always suggest a good gas removing air purifier in the room, just my opinion.. I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. This makes the modern black aesthetic stand out and remain clean and uninterrupted. I really appreciated this eye to detail.. Siv. Helena, MT. Mon Apr 13 2026
