I was reluctant to purchase a mattress online because I've always tested out options in store. The reviews were very helpful but ultimately what convinced me was the double sided use. I do prefer the softer white side of the mattress and can see the benefit of switching to the firmer side after years of use. After a week on the mattress I am SO glad I made the purchase. The mattress is exactly what I was looking for! Firm support though also cushioned! When first unboxing I thought it would be a disappointment because of the vacuum seal. Meaning thought it would be too soft like sinking in. Not the case! The website details are spot on! Waiting on a custom Murphy bed though this full-size is like I said- what I was looking for. I researched many mattresses before deciding on this one. It's for my guest room and won't get daily use, but I still wanted a good quality mattress, which this seems to be! The only issue I had was that even after four days of letting the mattress expand (much longer than what was recommended), the 14" mattress never made it above 12.5". Wayfair made it right though, and I'm pleased with this mattress.. Judy. Whiteland, IN. Mon Jun 29 2026

Choosing the right mattress firmness is key for a comfortable sleep while picking the wrong firmness for your body and sleeping position can lead to pain and discomfort. But mattress firmness is subjective, because each individual applies a different amount of pressure to the sleep surface based on their weight, the same mattress is likely to feel softer to a heavier person and firmer to a lighter person. Lighter people (under 150 lbs) may find medium-firm to firm mattresses too hard, while heavier individuals (over 250 lbs) may perceive them as softer. Mattresses that rate between 4 and 6 on the firmness scale fall into the average range that most individuals prefer. They have broad appeal across weight groups, and they may be especially appropriate for partners with different position preferences and body types. Try out our medium-firm mattress, it will provide you with a comfortable sleep experience.
