I shopped for a long time at multiple retailers looking for a chair with all the features. This one has a seat wide enough for my dog to sit with me, swivels, and has a cup holder. I was looking for all these features plus a light gray tweed fabric and built in automated controls. As it turned out, this one having a corded remote turned out to be fortunate as the remote did not work and the vendor had to send a replacement. Had it been built in and not worked the whole chair would have had to be boxed up and returned for an exchange. I am not sure I could have done that without help due to the weight. The replacement remote took 14 days by FedEx which was unimaginable but this was not Wayfair's fault. Not sure how well the furry white fabric will hold up, but it is pretty.. Margaret. Overall, this is an excellent reading chair for the price. Mine arrived in two pieces and was fairly easy to assemble. One thing to note: you have to unscrew the bottom plank to access the instructions and screws. My main issue is that the fabric feels a bit on the cheaper side and arrived quite wrinkled, which made the chair look somewhat inexpensive at first. I used a steamer to smooth it out, and it now looks much better. Comfort-wise, it’s good—not exceptional, but definitely not uncomfortable. The chair is also a bit smaller than I anticipated.
