Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. You might need to manipulate the arms a little bit.But trust me it will fit. It looks nice and is comfortable to sit in. I like the material also, no more dog hair stuck in the couch. Kim. It’s comfortable, has good lumbar support and not too much head support which my neck likes. As others have said, it won’t stay fully back in the reclined position which is ok. I just watch tv in it. It’s not a huge recliner which is good. There are, however some marks on one arm that should not be there. It’d be a huge problem to return it. So much to love about this sofa: sturdy build, nice quality leather throughout, including the sides and back, warm classic color, styling to match just about anything, deep seating and back cushions that stay put with velcro. The back cushions have a nice solid structure, not slouchy like other designs. The edged seams are a nice design element that gives the sofa a more casual and inviting appeal. These are great chairs for the cost. Out of the box they feel mildly stiff which is why I dropped the rating one star. I’m sure they’ll soften up a bit.
