One of the worst tables I ordered. The color was completely off. I contacted support to try to return it and they are charged a 36 dollar return fee. This Travertine Coffee Table is gorgeous. For starters, the description of the table is incorrect as the tabletop is 24 inches square and the base is 15-inch square wood. I had never seen heard of travertine however I am so happy that I did the research ordered this table. The table may require a little more care and maintenance than some other types of stone or wood however the beauty of the lines in this stone are worth whatever little time is required to maintain it. It is incredibly heavy and sturdy. Very good piece for someone with little kids or dogs. The top is travertine-esque but you can tell it is very artificial. The photo makes it look closer to travertine than it is. However, I knew it wasn’t the real stone and have little kids so I’m happy with it. It’s a very fun, cool piece. I like how easy it is to walk around it when entertaining. It was easy to assemble but very heavy so either be strong enough to flip over on your own or grab a partner that can help. Just got it, and love it. Lovely polished natural stone creamy with brown flecks. When you run your hand over it there are few places where you can feel a real stone texture. Love that the feet are adjustable! The delivery team helped even the feet out for me so it didn't wobble. My first Wayfair purchase and was very happy with the communication and the delivery. This is natural stone, which upon reading the sticky label attached to the base, I discovered has no coating and needs special care for cleaning and is, apparently, easily stained. Label had one sentence about recommended to clean with either ammonia and water or mineral spirits (which I would pass on since it will stink up my house for eternity). I used a damp soft cloth.
