Pretty desk, but shorter than I expected it to be — my fault for not measuring first, to be sure, but it is definitely a couple inches shorter than desks I’ve had in the past, so make sure it will sit at a comfortable height for you before ordering. The shelf on the bottom is nice, but the way it is assembled, the heads of the screws do stick out just a bit on the top of the shelf instead of being bolted in from the bottom. The drawers do not come out all the way. My desk came slightly damaged, but Wayfair made it right on that front. This was the perfect sized extra cabinet that I needed for additional storage in a bedroom. It matched the walnut wood of the bedroom furniture, it's roomy enough and it's sturdy. It came without the drawer pulls, but Wayfair got the replacements to me quickly. Also, the rattan inlay lost color in spots while being assembled, but that was easily remedied with a furniture coloring crayon. Assembly took some time, but wasn't difficult. The only other concern is that it is very heavy and two strong people are needed to pick up the carton in which it's delivered. This desk is absolutely beautiful. I am using it as a vanity where I do my hair and makeup. I was looking for a piece of furniture that would blend with my Tommy Bahama bedroom set. This desk has rattan accents that give it a tropical look, which is exactly what I was looking for. It is make of sturdy materials, not flimsy at all. Very solid construction. It is a bit deceiving because it looks like there is a drawer in the middle. But there are only two small drawers on either side. This computer desk with hutch was very nice as it offered not only drawer storage but it also offer some top storage where I can put books, penspencils. I can also put cute little decor items on top.
