Pretty little accent lamp for my desk and work area. I would say the color is more brass than gold. The shade is pretty with rattan features and the base is sturdy. This is such a cute little lamp. I am planning on putting it on my kitchen countertop. It would also look nice on a bookshelf or bathroom lamp as well I think. The detail in the base makes it look high end. I will admit it took me a minute to realize the shade comes flipped in and upside down, you have to pull it all the way around and down over the lamp shade frame for it to expand to size.
