I'd give this a 4.5 stars if that were an option. The only real issue was that not all of the tongue and groove boards went together smoothly. I had to do some adjustments to make everything fit. This is a great raised garden bed. We did get chicken wire and put it under the entire structure, so moles and gophers couldn't come up through it, and believe me they have tried. The flaps are great when harvesting the back side of the plants. I didn't give this a 5 star, because the gate doesn't stay shut without propping something on it or placing a rock pile under it. Surprisingly sturdy given the price and compared to other items that look identical but cost twice as much. The directions say 2 people to assemble and 2 hours…they aren’t kidding about how long it takes but I was able to put this together by myself. I took these pictures with it only half filled to show what it looked like underneath. It is hard to tell if there is any underneath base inside even though it says it does not in the description. Sometimes, I know that can be missed. Since it is not closed in underneath, you can use either more soil like we are doing here, or use your own yard dirt/soil. This looks like it will work well for the purpose I want it, but I will add lattice to one side. It was easy to assemble and it’s heavier than expected based on the light wood. It is a bit top heavy so I’ll add a few stakes to be sure it stays upright. It’s really cute but not very tall. That’s okay as I’m using it for cucumbers and it will be easy to harvest.
