This is Lupita, an escape artist disguised as a spunky mini schnauzer. She had managed to wedge her way out of any tiny gap in our fence. Long story short, we ended up replacing an entire back fence to keep her in our yard....which didn’t work! She managed to wedge through the new fence. Our fence was lined with rocks and stones in an attempt to keep her in but she still dug around them UNTIL...my husband found this!!!! I hammered them in to all of the areas she was wedging through and she has not gotten out of our yard since! Simply amazing! I would definitely recommend it. We had a lot of barriers left over, but will be using them on other yards where she spends time, like my in-laws yard. They are barely visible so the yard looks nice...all rocks and stone are now gone!. Lissett. Benbrook, TX. Thu Nov 19 2020

The patented Dog Proofer fence extension system is the most effective solution available today for modifying existing fencing to stop larger animals such as dogs, coyotes, foxes, etc. from climbing and/or jumping over a fence. They fence extensions allow you to add up 2 feet of additional height to your existing fence made from wood, chain link, brick, block, vinyl/pvc, or metal. In addition, they proprietary design is custom engineered to to force your dog (or intruder animal) to climb the fence. Once they reach the edge of the arm, they are unable to plant their back feet (which is how these animals derive their strength to climb) which makes them dangle for a time before giving up and falling back to the ground.  Dogs and large predators alike do not have the front leg muscles to pull their weight vertically without the use of their hind legs. Kit includes components to outfit approximately 100 linear feet of fencing. The number of corners and gates may require additional components. (1) 4' x 100' Galvanized and pvc coated welded wire mesh (12) Galvanized and powder coated houdini-proof dog fence extension arms (2) 120lb Test heavy duty black zip ties - bag (100) No fasteners to hold fence extenders to posts are included due to the wide variety of fencing types and materials.

This does the job! Very impressive. Anonymous. Thu Jun 04 2026

My toolshed has space underneath where my dog can crawl under. These animal barrier fence pieces did the job...he can't dig through them. Also, waited until after it rained to put them in the ground...much easier that way. Also tacked top with a screw to keep them from bending over. By the way, my dog is an 85 lb 15 month old black labrodor retriever...very strong. Billy. Cleveland, TN. Thu Sep 10 2026

Great investment in protecting my flock of ducks from nocturnal predators. I installed the XL Animal Barrier around my walk-in duck cage about 1 year ago. So far theres been no successful nocturnal predator intrusions. Very heavy duty and I was able to push the long tines through my hardware cloth ground barrier (apron). Definitely a good investment.. We have moved into a new-to-us home with vinyl fencing surrounding the back yard.  There are some places where the bottom of the fence is higher than the ground. Because we would like to have a dog, those areas need to be secure from digging. We had wondered how to make that happen in the best way, and when I saw these I knew that they would be perfect for that particular project! Once installed, we can bring the dirt up to the level of the fence bottom. Because temperatures have been in the 90-100 degree range and we are older folks, my hubby has not yet been able to start on the installation project. It will happen when things cool down which, in Southern California, may be awhile yet! I can post more pictures to show how we used these barriers once they have been put into place.. Jani. 54FT Heavy Duty Arc Fence Barrier Kit, Anti-Rust Metal Steel Fence with Panels, Gate, Posts, Connectors, Outdoor Fencing for Yard, Pool, Patio

My husband, who was in the construction industry, is in the process putting this fence in. Once you get one or two sections installed, it moves pretty quickly...the learning curve. We're very pleased with the look and quality. Beware: If the trucking company can't get it up your driveway (ours is long and curved with many trees overhanging it) they'll leave it at the street. We had to load each section into my husband's truck and drive it up to the house in the Texas summer heat :(. Clarice. Bee Cave, TX. Tue Sep 01 2026

I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. Time will tell on that front. It definitely blocks out most things, so thats a real plus and will be sure to benefit us.. Mandy. Illinois. Sat May 30 2026
