Many things I love about this flooring: The color gradient is very natural in appearance, and the quality of the laminate itself is thick and durable. The non-damaged planks snapped together and locked in place quite effectively. Installation was reasonably easy after prep by leveling the subfloor, which was not so easy. Installing in a tiny bathroom was challenging only because the cuts needed to be so precise, and there were a LOT of cuts. What I didn't love: The first box of the 2 I bought arrived in essentially unusable condition. The snap tracks were largely broken, cracked, or gouged. Some of the planks arrived with corners completely broken off on both ends, making them entirely unusable. Wayfair did send a replacement at no charge and allowed me to dispose of them rather than box them for shipment back for a return, which I also appreciated. After using the floor for the better part of a year now, I have mixed feelings. The floor is durable, it looks nice; however, the floating floor does expand and contract with temperatures, and I'm not crazy about having to tap the planks back together every season change. . For the price, though, I believe this is a far superior option to many in a similar dollar range. It really does look like a hardwood floor, and I still get compliments when people see it. It's extremely durable, withstanding the rough treatment of 2 teenage boys in their own bathroom... I assure you, they are testing the integrity of the product, and it is passing with flying colors. I would just recommend allowing plenty of time to ensure that your planks can be inspected, additional product can be ordered in case of mishandling in the delivery process, and also to ensure the subfloor is in proper condition for installation.. Since the actual project requires nearly 5000 sq ft I want to make sure that this project will maintain the design continuity and overall quality standard I'm looking for. That can be tricky when you want to stay under $10.00 per foot. I also had my installer give me his opinion since he's the one who's going to have to work with it. From my prospective the color is what I'm looking for, and the Herringbone design will give just enough texture in these large rooms to be interesting. I LOVE this flooring. I have had about 1800 sq feet down for 4 years and just purchased more. My installer thought it was hardwood when he arrived and I had a bit layed out. I haven’t installed it just yet. I want to finish psinting the walls before laying the flooring. This laminate flooring is one of the best I’ve come across. Very well made. Roanoke Taupe Brown- These floors are high quality. However it’s very hard to tell in a Sample how they will look. I was hoping for more of a solid wood look with not much of a knotty wood/rustic look. These floors border on the edge of a rustic look. They are also a golden- honey color.
