We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. The bed feels sturdy and safe. The guardrails on the top bunk are solid, and the ladderstairs are stable enough that I don’t worry about them climbing up and down. This bed took 6 or 7 days to come in, when it was delivered some pieces of the cardboard were broken, but it didn’t really change anything. There are a few scratches on the bed, honestly I can’t do anything about it so it’s useless worrying about it.me and my sisters built this bed in the span of 10 hours. We were stuck of a few parts which is normal I guess, overall it was simple looking back at it. It’s very sturdy and strong, we got full over fully, only reason why I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is simply because of the delivery and a few scratches on the bed, that’s only fair. Everything else is great. Beds very sturdy like I said, and walnut is a gorgeous color! I selpent some time looking for the perfect bunk for me and my lil sis. I am really really impressed with this bunk bed. I read TONS of reviews and scoured the Internet and really glad I decided to buy this. I have a picky husband who despises poor quality (more than most people) so I knew he’d be reviewing each and every piece with a critical eye. Even he is a big fan of these beds!!! Very well made, all the holes lined up, not a scratch to be seen. My girls LOVE it and were so happy. We went with a 9 inch mattress on top. This isn’t the cheapest bunk bed on the market...but it’s worth every penny. It’s a very safe and well made construction. FYI...this shipped in 10+ boxes...large boxes. My husband put together by himself. He changed up the directions and put together the bottom first, then the frame of the top, and then the top slats, just FYI. I only helped carry the boxes upstairs. And we opened all the boxes first and got all the hardware pieces and directions together before starting. I’ve owned this full-on-full bunk for years (maybe 5) and it’s shared by my kids, now 5 and 8. 5 just got his own bed so now 8 is going to convert this to a loft bed by removing the bottom bunk. This thing is a beast, it takes up lots of room but it worked so well for us. I liked stairs instead of a ladder for the occasional times I had to crawl into the top bed (to get a toy or help make the bed, etc.) I had a handyman assemble it so I can’t speak to that but he said it was no problem. We moved (photo in review is from listing of our house) and it came apartwent back together (by movers) just fine. The bed is cute though very large. I’ve ended up sleeping on bottom when kids have nightmares or sick, and it’s really solid and can hold adult weight just fine. (Ok I’ve even slept on this top bed a few times!) This is very sturdy and well-built. It took my husband about 3 hours to assemble it himself (he is very into this kind of thing so it might take others a little longer). There's plenty of room on the bottom bunk for my kid to sit up and when my other kid wiggles up top, it's not super squeaky or wobbly for the bottom kid. We really like the look of this new bunk bed. Unfortunately we thought it was wood and not a metal bed but it really still looks quite nice. It is very sturdy and was actually quicker to assemble than the wooden beds. It has LED lights, cloth storage bins for drawers and a charging station on the small desktop. There is an awkward space between the desk and the bottom bed which I am guessing means you should use the bottom bed as the seat when you are at the desk but if that doesn’t work, you can always put a chair on the other side. Excellent solution for my girls' bedroom. They are both young so they share the bottom for now but they love their bed. The side shelf is large enough for a small TV that has helped to make their bedtime much more pleasant. Plenty of storage and it seems like it will last a long time. Assembly took a whole day and some parts were a bit confusing but overall not bad. I added some felt feet under the whole thing so it doesn't scratch up our hardwood and it also helps keep it quieter if they're playing in their bed.
