This bed took 6 or 7 days to come in, when it was delivered some pieces of the cardboard were broken, but it didn’t really change anything. There are a few scratches on the bed, honestly I can’t do anything about it so it’s useless worrying about it.me and my sisters built this bed in the span of 10 hours. We were stuck of a few parts which is normal I guess, overall it was simple looking back at it. It’s very sturdy and strong, we got full over fully, only reason why I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is simply because of the delivery and a few scratches on the bed, that’s only fair. Everything else is great. Beds very sturdy like I said, and walnut is a gorgeous color! I selpent some time looking for the perfect bunk for me and my lil sis. Overall happy but still in the process of building. Details in the pictures of the instructions are too small to tell if you have the pieces going in the right direction. We had to take some of it apart and then rebuild it because the piece with the bracket was upside down. But, we will make it through to the end and excited for the queen over queen bed for guests! Update - bed is built! There were a few flaws with the wood pieces and the upper railing is a flimsy but the base is sturdy overall. We will probably reinforce the upper rails with extra support. Also, all the bolts are exposed and pretty prominent. And, there were a number of holes that are totally empty as the bed has multiple configurations and not all the holes are used.. Cristina. We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. The built-in drawers hold way more than I expected — clothes, pajamas, extra sheets, and even some toys — which helped keep everything organized without needing another dresser. The bed feels sturdy and safe. The guardrails on the top bunk are solid, and the ladderstairs are stable enough that I don’t worry about them climbing up and down. Once it was fully assembled, there was no wobbling or squeaking. Assembly did take a few hours, so definitely set aside time and have another adult help. Excellent solution for my girls' bedroom. They are both young so they share the bottom for now but they love their bed. The side shelf is large enough for a small TV that has helped to make their bedtime much more pleasant. Plenty of storage and it seems like it will last a long time. Assembly took a whole day and some parts were a bit confusing but overall not bad. I added some felt feet under the whole thing so it doesn't scratch up our hardwood and it also helps keep it quieter if they're playing in their bed. It's sometimes difficult to find a queen over queen bunk and I am so glad that I stumbled upon this one. This is the perfect bunk bed! I love that the bottom bunk is on the floor as I believe that it adds to the stability and strudiness of the entire bed. I also love that it has a shelf all the way around the bottom bunk so that you can place a book, nightlight, or even your phone.
