We love the gated bedframe for our little toddler. She loves it as well. Twin size is really big but it's great. Only issue is the gate should have some type of protection when it is opened. The baby was getting into the bed through the gate and gripped the railing and her little fingers were smashed between the gate door and the actual frame. Great piece of furniture! I was impressed that this item is actual solid and pure wood, sometimes you never know what you will get. It would be easy to paint or stain if desired. The number of pieces to put together was intimidating at first, but it went together a bit faster than the 1 hour stated time frame. I love the pure look and the fact that it is low to the ground. Hoping for an easy transition for my toddler!! Warning!!! One of the hardware bolts could pose a choking hazard if it were to come lose. There are 8 such pieces in total. They seem to be well locked in place, but I will definitely keep an eye out to see if anything shakes lose over time.
