These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. Terrific 100 percent cotton mattress protector! It fit like a glove and is padded with the softest cotton. It is difficult to find a mattress protector that is not made of some type of plastic. I understand people want the plastic to protect from spills. I did not want that. I simply wanted something more other than a thin sheet right against my new mattress.
