This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. My only complaint is on the shipping. They used fed ex which I hate. The driver left my package outside on the side walk instead of delivering to my front door. thankfully it was so heavy no one stole it. Make sure you have 2 people to pick it up. The package weighs like 150-200 pounds. My package also came damaged but thankfully, they used enough Styrofoam that it didn’t damage the frame.
