I contacted customer service to report the issue, and while they offered a 20 discount, I asked for a bit more since I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, buying another one, and waiting again for shipping. They asked me to wait 24 hours for a response, so I’m still hoping for a better resolution. This is actually my third recent order with problems, which is very frustrating. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for years and never had this many issues before. Really disappointed with this experience. I received an email from Wayfair saying they are going to credit back to my original payment method, which I appreciate. I already finished building the box spring and, as I mentioned before, it does look like good quality overall. I really hope I won’t have any problems with it later on. My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight.
