I wanted a surround for my adjustable bed base and this fit the bill. I did not need the slats or slat supports. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to put it together myself at 72 years old. I wanted the shelf and USB charging ports and an ac outlet and lighting. I got everything I needed. The big box store wanted between $300 and $1200 for some frames with either power or charging but not both. Weight requirements did not matter since I used my own adjustable base.
