We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand. So the piece arrived in a pretty beat up box. Most of the pieces are still in great shape (I’ve noticed one small scratch), but it’s missing all of the hardware. So either the hardware fell out in transport or they never sent it. I haven’t been able to put the bed together. That said pieces look good and the instructions seem decent. I’m hoping to get new parts from the company because I think it could be a nice piece of furniture but for now I don’t recommend this item. I think I could go buy the items from the hardware store but that seems more expensive and not super easy. Update I received the hardware in the mail after talking to Wayfair. The bed took an hour to assemble with two people. It’s pretty sturdy. If I’m being nitpicky about it I wish the pattern on the headboard lined up perfectly but overall I’m happy. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions.
