The complete frame is wrapped in a woven polyester fabric cover. While easy to transport, this frame fits and stores in tight spaces and is ready to assemble in any bedroom space to suit your needs.

I've never assembled a box spring before, and it seems sturdy for this price point. I ordered the twin size, and was able to put it together by myself except for one step - I wanted to stretch the slats all the way to the edge of the recessed area so the straps would be taut. Consider wearing gloves for assembly, lots of splintery wood. My only suggestion for the seller is they should put an extra of each of the smaller hardware bits just in case they got lost. I almost lost a spring washer twice!. Kimberly. Broomfield, CO. Wed Sep 16 2026

Some older box springs or foundations don’t provide a solid surface, causing mattresses to sag from the support breaks. Our Casper Foundations slats are positioned a perfect four inches apart for optimal support. A strong and level foundation helps mattresses perform at their peak for a decade or more, no matter what kind of bed frame they sit on. Casper Foundations and mattresses are the perfect pair. We spent over a year developing the Casper Foundations, so its design has the same considerations as our mattresses.

Easy to put together. Very sturdy. There are screws heads in the bed frame in 3 places down the middle of the frame and the center piece of the foundation sits on the screw heads. So it doesn’t fit flat on the frame. Either the makers of the bed or the foundation need to accommodate this space for the screw heads. I coved the foundation with a fitted sheet since it only comes in one dark color.. Doug. Erie, MI. Wed Jun 24 2026
