The fluted bed frame is really a nice quality piece of furniture. I bought this bed and another one with a metal frame at the same time and this one is by far a much better quality. The storage bench and drawers on the end are a great storage solution, especially for teens. The “natural” color falls somewhere between butter yellow and mustard yellow. The frame is heavy and seems reasonably well made, but ours arrived broken. The drawers are poorly designed. We had to glue them because the front panels could not be tightened enough to close the gaps (see the second photo). One drawer was also missing a part. Check the measurements carefully. The dimensions diagram is accurate, but the staged bedroom photo is misleading. As designed, the nightstands sit practically on the floor, level with the bed frame rather than the mattress. We had to drill new holes and buy bolts and wing nuts to attach them at a usable height.. Sharrie Woodring. Edison, NJ. Mon Oct 19 2026
