I wasn’t quite sure how I would like this stool but I really loved the modern design. Once it arrived and I put it in the shower and took it for a spin ..I absolutely loved it! I've been waiting until I remodeled my shower to purchase a freestanding shower bench. My shower isn't huge so I needed something small enough to scale but tall enough for this lady with bad knees to sit comfortably, if needed. I assumed I would get a traditional teak bench, but when I saw this engineered stone, I quickly changed my mind. It's really a piece of art - and heavy duty enough not to inadvertently move when you sit on it. It's heavy, but not bulky and fits perfectly in my shower. Let’s get concrete about seats! Contrary to what you would expect from its name, this stylish iconic stool is a true lightweight. Inspired by the concrete building blocks often seen outdoors this stylish seat is a practical and irresistible asset to any interior and exterior. Due to its no-nonsense shape and size, this is applicable for multiple purposes. Use it as a stool in the living room or garden or as a handy side table. Your ‘concrete’ comrade is as functional as they come. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a typical Fatboy twist. Just screw off the cap at the bottom and fill her up with sand. This way you can add some weight to the occasion for extra stability and sturdiness.

I like the minimalistic and modern style. I take one star for the logo prominently engraved on the top of it. It would be much better on the side where company Fatboy can still promote their brand without taking away from the nice clean esthetic of this stool. The first unit I received was used and stained! I declined to keep it for 20% price reduction and got replacement 3 days later. Appreciate the service. This bench seat came with a chip, 2 deep cuts, unfinished edges and what looked like a bubble in the surface. It was very poor quality and not at all what I expected. I sent a return and am waiting for Wayfair to make it right by sending me a good bench seat. They have not yet sent the new product and my install is scheduled soon. I will keep this review up to date and let you know what happens. UPDATE: Received my new bench seat a few days after asking for a replacement. Wayfair replaced the problem seat at no charge.
