Transolid ultra-low linear shower bases are the perfect choice to replace an old tub. They are to accommodate traditional tub sizes and the drain from the wall to line up with an existing tub drain. Made of numerous layers of Transtone, a sheet-molded compound material that is solid throughout the base and is supported by sturdy structural ribs underneath that radiate out from the drain opening. When combined with a thin-set mortar installation, this creates a flex-free, water-tight installation and a foundation that you can count on. The base features an ultra-low threshold that is just a smidgen wider to even accommodate popular farmhouse style barn doors. The surface is scratch, impact, and slip-resistant with a beautiful slate finish for a minimalist look.

This was a beautiful product.. unfortunately we needed a double threshold shower base and had to return it. Wished we could have used it… my contractor also liked it.. Monthakan. Monterey Park, CA. Fri Apr 15 2022

I haven't installed it yet, so I dont know how easy that is, but it was packaged really well. Luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Turned out wonderful. Very durable. Laura. TX. Tue Oct 20 2026

Looks to be a great product. Transolid needs to improve the packaging. Ours arrived with damage to one corner which fortunately will be hidden once installed and should present no problems in future. The texture which mimics stone, perhaps slate, is fantastic. Like most shower pans, this one gets set in mortar and promises to be quite "solid". Really looking forward to the finished bath.. Dale. Looks like it’s pretty good quality. I would’ve loved for the edges of the tile to to rest on a higher lip than what is there. But this was the delivery.
