Crown molding has the ability to add beauty to any room. The dentil design on this one is a nice feature. The benefit of foam (EPS) crown molding is that it does not shrink. Cuts easily with a miter saw or fine-tooth blade.

It comes ready to install, painting is not required, however, to maintain uniform color we recommend painting with 100% acrylic latex paint. Fasten your PVC with standard PVC cement and stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized nails using common wood­working tools. Because PVC won't absorb water, it's perfect for installing directly to masonry or below ground level (basements), which is not always possible with wood or composite material. Feel good using a green product too, making it both economical and environmentally friendly.

It's lovely material, but the install was initially pretty (conceptually) tough. Screwed up with the adhesive and had to order another piece of this. The main thing that saved the final install was using a (cordless) nailer, which made it a lot easier. If you don't have one, recommend to borrow one from a friend (hopefully you already have one). If you don't use a nailer, try to find the least obtrusive finish nails / use a precision finish tool (not sure what it is called but it's a little thing you use with a hammer to push the nail heads deeper, but not so that you dent the moulding) to submerge the nail heads. When you paint this, also recommend to start with the little domes and really work around them so paint does not pool. Finish the rest of the paint job with swipes in parallel to the length of the 'board'. I ended up using four coats of paint...it was worth it. Your mileage may vary! We order the millwork crown moulding to marry our plaster crown moulding.We enduring a car running into end of our home..We had to replace 15 feet that was damaged and it worked beautifully with contractor using these in pinch.Very thankful for this product. Can you say easy to work with! OMG! This Polystyrene Crown Molding is lightweight, budget friendly , easy to cut, and easy to handle especially for beginners! If you want a simple way to upgrade any room in your house this is the way to do it! Trim work is probably some of the most expensive work you can have done in your home, partly because of the dramatic change it makes. Fortunately Wayfair allows you to make these dramatic changes yourself! I was uncertain at my ability but the price of this trim allowed me to take a chance. Thank goodness I did!
