Classic meets contemporary in this slim modern curio. You can place it almost anywhere. You could even use a pair as columns in a dining or living room for architectural interest and flair. Our curio is solidly built in select hardwood solids and veneers with a Cherry wood finish. It features a mirrored back, halogen lighting, adjustable glass shelves, adjustable glides for leveling, and right-side entry.
This is a very nice glass cabinet. My favorite part is that the wood is painted silver, which looks very classy in a room with grays and silvers. The design is very slim and narrow but very tall, which is perfect for a small space with high ceilings. The side opening panels are good because the front has a smooth glass finish. The side handles are slightly askew but not bad. However, my only real problem was that it took hours of carefully aggressive scrubbing to clean the glass. At this price point, no glass pieces should come with stickers. There were stickers on the front and stickers on each shelf, that had to be individually removed. Additionally, the glass was very dirty. Like so dirty both inside and out that I had to carefully maneuver and risk breaking it by getting in there with a serious glass scrubber and windex. It was quite stressful! But if the glass is sticky and foggy and streaky, what’s the point However I think I did a good job and it came out very beautifully and is a great accent piece in my home where I can happily display all my family heirlooms..
