This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. This furniture is made entirely from 100% solid fruit wood, without the use of veneers or laminations. Natural characteristics such as grain patterns, knots, and slight movements or variations are inherent to the wood and should not be considered defects. This product is handmade using quality solid wood in a community-driven, sustainable way which is certified by B Corp. Furthermore, the entire supply chain of timber management is certified under responsible forestry. The factory is socially compliant and is aiming for a net zero carbon-free future by 2030.
