Love everything about this duvet cover. The print is really nice. The feel is soooooo soft. It is really well made. Quality is excellent. I would have liked there to be interior ties all around to hold the duvet in place. There are only ties at the corners and wiith a king size, it shifts more than it should.... Lovely and nicely crafted but very heavy (80 lbs.) Barclay Butera mirror from his Malibu collection looks lovely hanging in an alcove near our dining table. One cautionary note: Suggest possibility of hiring a professional to hang this one after my husband made several concentrated efforts. Rather than using one 100 lb. hook, he finally wired the mirror through the D rings and hung the wire on three 100 lb. hooks so the weight would be more evenly distributed. By the way, we were concerned about the sheetrock being unable to support the weight of the mirror, so he first placed a 1 x 6 board behind the mirror before applying the hooks. (Better safe than sorry.) A professional might have done it differently, but it was well worth the effort overall. Pleased to have discovered this piece on the Perigold website.. Suzanne. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. Beautiful solid wood bed! This is the queen in yellow brown, super happy with the actual color. Perfect height for 14 inch mattress without a box spring needed. Bed comes with supportive legs. A standard box spring/ foundation is required for this bed. Bed is carefully carved to have the tradtional look. Recommend using a standard 8-12 inch mattress. Can accomodate an adjustable mattress. Headboard has bronzed gold tipping with carefully carved footboard. Wood may include knots and nail holes due to the nature of the wood being used. Top of nightstand and dresser are made of marble in a brown mixed with charcoal color. Both come fully assembled and handware are made of metal in bronze color. Has matching chest sold separately.
