As others have said, the colors in the photos are very misrepresentative - they are much more dull and grey. That said, the rug feels great underfoot and everyone in my house has spent time standing on it. There's no way a door would be able to pass over it and I feel like it would make a table or other furniture feel off balance, so would recommend more for a runner or area rug that sits in the middle of a room.. Sarah. Baltimore, MD. Thu Sep 24 2026

Here's a hand-tufted rug that's brimming with texture and plushness, giving any room a cozy, welcoming foundation. The rug is truly as pictured. The color, thickness and quality were as expected. It might have a bit more light blue than I thought but since it’s in a darker hall I thought it would brighten the area. I also bought the plush 13 rug pad - Wayfair basics. Together they feel great but they are thicker than some may want. It rolled out fine. The edges still need to lay down a bit further so we make a point to walk on them as we pass through. Very happy with purchase.. Beth. Cincinnati, OH. Mon Oct 19 2026

Really beautiful rug that's soft on the feet. It does not have a stiff backing so it can bunch a little if there's no nonslip pad underneath. I just got it and have not seen the shedding others talked about, but it is interesting in that from the long side, you can clearly see cream and tan stripes, but from the short side, it looks the same..
