The sofa frame and tables are UV and weather resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. I’m unsatisfied with this product. After the sliding bench arrived and the first assembly guy unpacked the box we discovered a very noticeable split in the composite wood front slate. It should have never been packed and shipped. I immediately contacted Wayfair and had a replacement part sent. When the replacement part arrived the second assembly guy discovered two other parts were cracked or split. Consequently, I immediately recontacted Wayfair while the assembly guy was present and asked for a refund. This is an inferior product. *WARNING *Don’t purchase this product! I wasted my time. Nice set and decent for the money. Rocking swivel chairs are very nice, but had incorrectly matched piece that was too big for lower screws to attach.
