I looked at so many similar models since I was originally looking for a bunk bed with a slide. This one is on the smaller (shorter) side so it works better for toddlers and younger children. You could still squeeze a second mattress underneath (as pictured in some listings) but it would be too easy to bump their head. The tower doesnt come with attachments so it can be moved around or very easily knocked over if used on the slide (zip ties recommended). Kids have to be careful climbing onto the slide from the mattress (can be quite a drop depending on mattress thickness). The whole bed will rock a little from kids climbing and playing on it but sturdy enough without having to mount it to the wall. Assembly and directions could be a lot better. Our package came without instructions, which Wayfair responded to promptly by reaching out to the manufacturer and emailing instructions within 24 hours. The instructions were still not clear since parts arent labeled in some of the diagrams and some of the actual parts are numbered differently. Some parts have a velcro strip attached (for attaching the cloth tent) but arent marked in the instructions so you have to watch where you put them or else youll end up pulling apart and rebuilding the bed. There are no directions for putting on the cloth pieces but its straightforward as long as you have installed the velcro pieces correctly.. El. Wed Apr 08 2026

My daughter loves it. It did take the assemblers a while to put it up, they did well it was much needed. A lot of screws. I also did notice some chipped pieces of wood as well. This was a great purchase! Not only is it well made, very sturdy and looks just like the pics, but my granddaughter loves it!! In fact she has been sleeping in her own bed since her daddy put it together for her!! That is a huge positive for this bed. The slide is steep and you probably will want to put a mat or pillow at the bottom of the slide to protect the little one from a hard landing. Great buy!!! Im very pleased!!. Cherie. Minnesota. My child loved this! It fit the space perfectly, I thought the slide could be placed in either side but it didn’t so it look a little bit more space than what I wanted , so do take in consideration the amount space the slide will take on that side.. the whole awakk. Very cute but difficult to follow instructions, wayfair did not have mattresses to fit, the bottom mattress is straight on the floor and I am trying to figure out how to get a replacement part that was damaged during installation as the wood was not strong enough.
