The cage assembles easily with slip-in mesh panel construction and flat-head hex bolts that can not be unscrewed by birds. The cage stands base features easy-rolling casters and the interior floor grille can be removed to add 10" of additional living space. Pretty well constructed. Everything fit together nicely. Directions are a bit vague at times. But my 16 year old daughter assembled it completely on her own with the tools provided in the kit. Fit and finish is nice. Rather sturdy for a wire cage versus a wrought iron cage. But thats why the price is half of a wrought iron. It's a lovely cage, well made and designed for a small bird, like my cockatiel. We did have a problem getting the dome installed due to in -the-box damage, which left it enough askew that it took many tries to get the job done. Very well built cage, high quality wheels, stable, lots of space, a bit bigger than the standard 30 x 30 x 30 interior plus cart, but my birds love it. The only drawback is cage bars that go horizontally at the sides of the cage so you can't attach water containers and toys, etc., through the bars, but the front bars are vertical and perfectly spaced. Really great cage after custom fitting it out the perch placement(made some from dowels), food&water, and toys. Also, it was big enough for me to get two new parakeets (4 in all) which makes for a lot of busy antics and chatter (which I luv).
