This was a awesome find. Never knew it would be this hard to find a bar top but if you can get your hands on it purchase with confidence. It is finished beautifully and only needs to be installed. I cut mine down about 18 inches to fit a custom bar top install in the basement. The quartz pairing for the lower counter tops look outstanding. If you try to buy this direct the shipping costs are outrageous. Just get it from Wayfair as it ships 10x faster and is actually cheaper when you account for the shipping costs of company direct. Despite significant damage to the shipping box the bar top is 99.9 undamaged. There is a minor chip on the bottom edge not visible from the top. This is attributed to the outstandingly packaging that was done for shipping. This bar top and delivery has exceeded my expectations. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos. Quality butcher block style table top at a great price. I took a bit of a flyer on the cinnamon stain - it was not pictured on the web site, but was lower cost than the others, so I took a chance. This table top is beautiful! I had an existing base from my old tile top table so I was able to attach this table top to the existing base. It arrived extremely well packaged with no damage what so ever. The finish on it seems to be a stain or a protection clear coat…I’m not sure. I purchased a teak protector to keep it from turning grey but I’m not sure if I actually need to use it or not?? I would definitely purchase another one if I needed to buy another teak table top!!
