I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. My dog is 15 pounds and can’t get out of it, so that is the best part. Perhaps my Dad’s caregiver will figure out how to open and close it. Seems to be an ok gate. Looks nice. Was easy to install. There is a small plastic piece with a spring behind it at the bottom of the gate that was broken when it arrived. I just took it off and it doesn’t seem to interfere with operation of the gate so, I’m not sure what it was there for. Pretty sure it was broken before it even left the factory. The box was in perfect condition. We still can’t figure out how to get the cat door to slide up so that’s disappointing. The lock/unlock knob appears to do nothing. This might honestly be one of my favorites yet. A few things that make it stand out Super easy to install My husband had it up and ready to go in no time. Auto-close feature It closes on its own perfectly, which is a massive lifesaver when youre busy or rushing through. Fantastic value It feels incredibly solid and well-made, especially given the price point. For comparison, our other gate (which weve had for a long time and still use for our puppy elsewhere) was easily 2 to 3 times more expensive than this one, yet it doesnt even have an auto-close feature. I bought an open box version of this, so it was a little less expensive. It's working great. It was very easy to set up, all of the necessary pieces were included (something that makes me nervous about the open box discounted items) and it's a nice looking gate. I find that I can't completely close the actual door, but I can close it enough for my purposes.
