These are high quality beautiful chairs. The one thing that I have noticed since having them is that they are fairly "tall" at the seating height. I am 5'6" and my feet to lay flat on the floor when sitting on these chairs. Most women shorter than me would have dangling feet when sitting on these chairs. If I'm wearing sneaker with a tall platform, my feet are flat, but barefoot, my feet don't reach. Be aware of this if you are a shorter person looking for a comfortable dining chair.
