Pleasantly surprised ! I normally try not to order anything the does not have any reviews. This tree is perfect. I comes in three pieces each have a strand of lights that plug into each other then plugs into the electric outlet. I ordered the multicolor which also has an option to use clear lights only and also mixed clear & multicolor with different options such as flashing or stationary etc. The tree itself has sturdy branches so you can hang something on them but nothing too heavy. The pot it is in is nice, has a nice weight but the 5ft. tree maybe a little top heavy which may tip so I plan on putting some rocks inside the pot to make more sturdy as I will be using on my porch. The tree itself was very pretty. I did not pay attention to the fact that the “urn” that it was in was 12.4 “ tall, which made the tree only about 3’ tall. I truly needed a 4’ 6’ tree due to the amount of decorations that I have for the tree. Update These lasted about two years outside. They were on my porch, had some sunlight, but temps are always warm. Life like, good color, could have used a few more stems, but still works as they look like newer baby shrubs. No idea how long they will hold up being outside in the heat and dry weather, but wreaths tend to last for several years, so I’m crossing my fingers for the best. I like it a lot — perfect size and well made. Just wish I could remove the plant part from the plastic pot it came in (cemented to the bottom, I think) so I could place it in my decorative planter. I bought this to decorate the front entry of my home. I liked the bundle deal...so I didn't have to search out each item individually. Battery powered lights means no extension cords to trip over, and I really like the timer feature. When you take time to separate/fluff out all the branches, all the pieces look very authentic and give the ambiance I was looking for...that first impression WOW moment. I will elevate the look by placing the trees in urns, but I am glad these came in pots already with cement to hold the tree upright and in place - you can just take them out and you're off and running. The lights aren't overwhelming - it won't look like daylight at the front door - but it is warm and welcoming. I have my fireplace decked out at the moment testing it out, because Halloween decorations are up at the moment. I purchased this set at a deep discount, so I am very pleased given that price point..
