This is a very nice set of outdoor benches. They are well made, sturdy and the wood is beautiful. However, I should have read the product overview before purchasing. That's why I only gave a 4-star rating. It recommends reapplying oil regularly to preserve the color and finish. It says to avoid rain exposure, etc. I assumed since it advertises as "outdoor bench" that it would have been bettered suited for the outdoors. My mistake. We ordered this in the 82" Palermo Drift leather and it's beautiful. The color is a bit lighter than it appears in the product photos. One of the reasons I suspect is due to the bloom that developed. I'm not sure if it occurred during shipping or sitting in a warehouse, but there is a dusty look that is indicative of leather blooming. This type of leather is susceptible to it and it does make it look a bit aged. I'm not sure how I feel about it and will likely try to buff it to see if it improves. It also easily shows scratches. Aside from that, it is incredibly comfortable and is the perfect height for our Colin live edge dining table. The product info indicates it seats 3, but our whole family of 4 fit with room for another person or two. It's super spacious and is perfect in our great room. I took a chance on an Open Box item and honestly if the measurement weren't off I would love it. It is built very well. I love the velvet fabric and the style. The price I paid was also an excellent deal. It was in brand new condition. The box may have been opened, but the bench had never been out of it. But the measurements are off in both the height and the width. The length of the bench measurement however, was correct. It states the height of the Bench is 18 inches, it is slightly over 17. The depth of the bench it states is 16.5 inches, but it is actually 17.75 inches. So the bench now sits a little short and wide (sticks out from under the table more) for the dining bench I wanted. If this was just for the end of my bed or an entryway bench it would be perfect. It's very stable, incredibly well built and has a lovely comfy seat. Overall it is a very nice bench just not quite what I was hoping for. It did ship quickly and was well packaged and I would by open box items again.. Tam. TN. Tue Jul 14 2026
