There are tons of windows to let the breeze blow through and keep it cool while kids are playing. Boys and girls can cook up meals in the kitchen with a burner, sink and three accessories. To make this playhouse even more like a real home, there's a measuring wall where you can mark heights to track your kids' growth. Plus, there's a planter box for really planting flowers or veggies. This backyard playhouse is made of wood (including the gabled roof) and treated with stain that has UV and mold protection, so it'll help the house hold up to the elements year-round. Give kids a homey retreat in the backyard with the Timberwood Playhouse from KidKraft.

What a darling playhouse. Our kids (4 and 2) are in love, and I was informed by my oldest that she's my neighbor now. "Goodbye, neighbor, I'm going to my house now." Assembly was a marathon, according to my husband, but not bad. I appreciate that it's a size my kids can use for a number of years.. Kathleen. Kansas. Fri Oct 23 2026

Updating to edit- the doors were great out of the box, but once we got them hung, they started coming apart around the shaker trim/molding. We’ve tried using wood glue and clamps to secure it but it keeps pulling apart. We’re left with non-functioning doors. Doors look great! Cater to the joy and wonder of childhood with the Lantana Lane Playhouse from KidKraft. The gabled roof conveys a storybook quality, while the flap door brings a modern touch to the aesthetic. Kids will race outdoors to set up house. The play kitchen and barbeque grill let kids cook a variety of play food. Hanging pegs keep the accessory set handy and organized. Double-sided creativity boards and clocks set the menu and opening hours of their pretend “restaurant.” Kids will love the two entrances—the traditional door and the whimsical “pet” door with fringe-style strips. Plenty of windows and open areas allow lots of air flow and an easy way for parents to keep an eye on kids.

It came faster than expected! Both packages arrived two days earlier than we originally thought, which was great! It took longer than I thought it would to put together, but I was working solo. It’s really a two person job. There were a few chipped pieces on the roof but otherwise it was in great shape. The kids love it!. Amy. Johns Creek, GA. Sat Jul 18 2026
