Got this for my handicapped mother who has also fractured her L2 and broken her right shoulder. It was very easy to assemble, directions were very clear. She needs the support of the lumbar pillow but also craves the heat which is only in the lumbar area, so she’s feeling a bit dissatisfied with the chair. She calls it empty promises. I’m pleasantly surprised by how convincing the faux leather looks — it gives the appearance of real leather without the high-maintenance feel. The chair itself feels sturdy, well-made, and overall great quality. It was flat on the ground in the weather, box torn, I was able to set it up right but it was too heavy to get onto the porch it was left next to.
