Our virgin polystyrene beans are 100% recyclable. Each bag contains 100 liters of rejuvenating beans. The number of beans you need will depend on the size of your chair and how flat it is: small chairs may need 1-2 bags, while giant chairs may require more. For child safety and durability reasons, all big Joe bean-filled chairs have two zippers with their pulls intentionally removed before shipment. To open your big Joe, place a paperclip into the first zipper head, pull to open, and then repeat on the second zipper. Detailed instructions can be found on the warning label attached to your Big Joe. And, you can use our refill packs for other reasons: packing material, arts and crafts, you name it!

I was looking forward to getting a foot resthassock that would hold my feet level while sitting due to ankles swelling, this DOES that. It arrived fast and the insert was compressed in a baggie. It swells fast! I tried putting and zipping it into its cover and had a heck of a time. The corners of the foot rest are not filled in and overall its quite lumpy. These are good basic pillow inserts and they arrived packaged very well. They are a nice size and seem to be made well, but they aren’t quite as full or fluffy as I was expecting. I think part of the issue may be that the pillow covers I purchased are just a little larger than the inserts, so they don’t completely fill out the corners. If I were ordering again, I would probably size up on the inserts or choose a fuller, fluffier option to get that more overstuffed look. That being said, they still look perfectly fine once the covers are on and they work well for decorative pillows on my office sofa. They hold their shape reasonably well and were very easy to put inside the covers. Overall, these are a good basic pillow insert, especially if you aren’t looking for something extremely plush or overfilled. Pictures are of the pillows inside the inserts.
