Potpourri Jar

First tossed in sheets in the back room of the Agraria shop on Nob Hill in 1970, it's best described by The New York Times as "uplifting, mysterious and androgynous in its appeal." Our special blend of roses from Bulgaria, rose hips from Chile, French lavender, rosemary from Morocco, and cloves from Madagascar is carefully tossed with the original Bitter Orange oil formulation. We still hand-pack each box and decorate the top with orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and dried bloom. Over four and a half decades later, it is still referred to as "Park Avenue Potpourri."

This is a large heavy and beautifully packaged condle with an oak and berry smell. It comes in a glass candle with a cork cap. The smell is not overpowering but it lasts a couple of hours in the room. I like that the candle is heavy but not too big and can fit on a counter or table either by other things. Very elegant. Alex.
