This is a solid lamp. When I was assembling it, I was impressed with how solid it felt. The base is weighted and the pieces screwed together tightly. It has a foot pedal and a remote to power it. You can change the color and brightness of the light (only warm and cool white not other colors). I only gave it a 4 star because it doesn’t seem to get as bright as I would like, but that could probably be improved with a different lightbulb. Overall, I’m pleased with this light.. Stephanie. This floor lamp brings together the best of two worlds: the warmth of natural wood and the clarity of modern acrylic. The camphor wood body in rich brown carries visible grain lines—each one unique, telling its own story of growth and time. Camphor is naturally dense and sturdy, offering reliable support that resists warping, cracking, and everyday wear. Its natural oils also repel insects and resist moisture, making it a practical choice for long-term use in various climates.Above it, the acrylic shade delivers exceptional light transmission. It diffuses the glow evenly, eliminating harsh glare and creating a soft, comfortable illumination that's easy on the eyes—ideal for reading or relaxing. Acrylic is lightweight, impact-resistant, and far less likely to shatter than glass, adding an extra layer of safety for households with children or elderly members. The contrast between the textured wood and the smooth, clear acrylic creates a balanced aesthetic—organic yet modern, warm yet crisp. This lamp doesn't just light a room; it grounds it with natural presence and contemporary clarity.
