This folding extrapicnic table is very stable when unfolded and set up. I was surprised at how thin the resin of the table was, but actually this made it much easier to carry, and it doesnt affect the use of the table which was very sturdy. I got this for my classroom. In the past, my laptop or teacher’s manual was on a table in the front of the room. This meant my back was to the students when I was using it. This is a nice mobile way to move around the room and have my devices. It came packaged well with all the pieces clearly labeled. It was a one person installation in less than an hour. Make sure to check the description for assembly instructions, as they do not come printed with the product. Also, there is a plastic plug (see photo) that is zip tied to the top of the lift. Make sure to cut this off before assembling. This step is not included in the assembly instructions and I didn’t realize the plug was there until I had assembled the first desk and saw that the lift didn’t work. I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. This product is basically a tray table that has a few additional options. It is adjustable height which is a little awkward to do. I have to lift it up to do it so I’m not able to adjust it with anything on it. The tray also has a tilt adjustment which is much easier to adjust. One of the tilt angles is perfect for a laptop. I’m using it as a flat table for when I do a little artwork at night while we watch television. Easy to put together took about 15 minutes by just me. Love the height adjustability of the table the lowest setting works perfect for me sitting at my couch & the highest setting would work for someone over 6 ft tall. Goes up & down easily & tilts if you need that. I left off the ledge for tilt because I dont think I'll use it but kept it just in case. That part screws on easily with a couple black knots.
