My family ribs me endlessly over my precious sink! It was shipped in the Arc of the Covenant. We had to use an engine hoist outfitted with a support bar to move the piece into position. It came with brackets and parts to hang on the wall, but at 400 pounds, the wall would have had to have been designed with this in mind. Instead, I did a Frankenstein bit to a thrift store oak kitchen table. We built a box out from the wall for plumbing access. Still working on getting the correct pipes and equipment, but I will have my sink eventually! Note for those looking: PLAN! It's ridiculously heavy, but oh so pretty. Hi there. The Help& Contact page, seems, doesn't work, so I'm writing here. I was very happy when we received this sink until we started to install it. The sink is not straight, it's bent. It looks like it is not possible to built it in, because we don't want that the sink bursts or our new countertop gets damaged. I'm wondering if there is a way to return or to exchange that item? So far so good. We are slowly replacing all of the stainless hardware in our kitchen which can get quite pricey. This sink checked all of our boxes and the price was nice. It looks a million times better than the stainless drainboard sink it replaced and we like the deep bowl. As for how ours is installed, I have an unfair advantage because my husband installs solid surfaces for a living. So he customized this drop-in sink and made it an undermount sink like he did with our previous drop-in drainboard sink. Time will only tell if this sink can withstand constant abuse from daily use and retain its clean white color. FYI, to those struggling with stains, 'Beekeepers Friend' cream cleanser is what my husband recommends to clean and remove stains from solid surfaces and it has always worked for me.. Jeni. Fantastic sink! Much nicer in person than the photos reveal online. Quite a contemporary esthetic and complements beautifully with my Grohe faucet in our modern ski chalet/cabin. Very user friendly, easy install. So far no water spotting issues ( though we have an in home water filtering system ), but you could seal this if you wanted to, to prevent hard water spot staining as mentioned by another reviewer. Love, love, love the drain board! The clean lines make it very simple to wipe down and take care of - I’m not a fan of putting wet glasses or just rinsed veggies or fruit on the counters to leave puddles of water. This was a great buy and I’m so happy I found it for such a reasonable price! Fast shipping, very well packed. Came double boxed w/ plenty of interior support to prevent chipping. Careful opening the interior box if you use a knife! If the box is upside down you could, potentially mar the top of the sink if you scored too deep through the cardboard. GREAT BUY!
