It works great for that however I didn’t expect that the tent stakes that came with it wouldn’t hold it down in the Oklahoma winds, they came out of the grains the first night. I used this tent to cover a tropical fruit tree in my yard. I needed something with structure that was easy to assemble and easy to remove the canvas from on sunny days. The instructions are very limited, but it wasn't hard to figure out the steps that aren't stated. The top canvas fits very snug and I wish it had a little more slack to make covering the frame easier on the hands. It does cover the frame well and I can do it by myself with a ladder. For the price, very impressed. Fabric is excellent quality. Fairly easy to put together. Could hang a full length mirror inside it. My only critique is that the front left corner has a one inch gap so not total privacy. It does the job providing shade. We use two in a 30’ round pool. Nice to not bake in the sun. Stays put on fairly breezy days. My concern is every velcro tab that hold the top to the gazebo frame, has a hole in each corner, where it’s sewn to the fabric. I don’t know how long that will hold up.
