It works great for that however I didn’t expect that the tent stakes that came with it wouldn’t hold it down in the Oklahoma winds, they came out of the grains the first night. This is a nice screen house tent. I'm an avid camper and it's always nice to have something on hand in case the bugs are bad or it rains and this fits the bill. I love how it packs down very small and is very lightweight. It doesn't make you second guess bringing it on a trip because it will take up space and you'll have to haul it. It's surprisingly big for how small it packs down. I haven't had a chance to take it camping yet, but it seems to be well made. I'm only docking it a star for the same reason other reviewers did: it's incredibly hard to fold it back up again. The directions aren't helpful at all. I was only able to accomplish it after watching videos of similar tents online. The thing to remember is you are basically making three rings, not just two (if that doesn't make sense, you definitely need to look up a video). Excited to put this into action.. Mike. Chicago, IL.
