PonyCycle Kids Cars & Ride-On Toys

PonyCycle® is the original ride-on horse toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Model U runs the full size range — Size 3, Size 4 and Size 5 — so a child who starts at three does not have to hand the pony on at seven. Nothing switches on: the rider sits on the padded saddle, holds the handle, bounces, and pushes through the foot pedals underneath — a two-phase mechanism turns the two motions into forward travel, and the one-way wheels keep the pony tracking straight instead of sliding backwards. The ride ends when they climb off, not when something runs out. Children pick this up faster than anyone expects. Within a couple of minutes they have the rhythm and they are off — down the hallway, around the kitchen island, and the brake squeezed at the doorway because they worked out on their own that they should. For the rest of the afternoon, the loudest thing in the house is a very happy child on a pony. Three sizes are available, so the pony can be matched to the rider rather than grown into.

This is must have for kids and entertainment!. Brittany. Charleston, SC. Thu May 21 2026

PonyCycle® is the original ride-on unicorn toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Model E keeps it simple. It works without a switch, a plug or a remote. The rider sits on the padded saddle, holds the handle, bounces, and pushes through the foot pedals underneath — the saddle and the pedals work together, a two-phase mechanism turns the two motions into forward travel, and the one-way wheels keep the unicorn tracking straight instead of sliding backwards. The hand brake on the handle stops it before the furniture does. White plush, a bright tufted mane and tail, a glittering horn, a glittering saddle pad and hoof caps that catch the light. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first unicorn.

I got this for my 4 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loved it! She named her Kiki. Kristine. US. Mon Jan 05 2026

PonyCycle® is the original ride-on unicorn toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Model U runs the full size range — Size 3, Size 4 and Size 5. Something shifts the moment a child realises the unicorn only moves when they do. They bounce, it moves forward. They stop, it waits. Nobody explained the rules and nobody handed them a remote — this one is theirs to drive, at whatever speed they decide, with the hand brake for the corner by the stairs. Then there is the horn. A striped glittering horn, a full mane that falls to one side, a glittering saddle pad and a soft fluffy cuff of fur above each hoof — a unicorn like this does not stay in the living room. It goes to the forest behind the sofa and the castle at the end of the hallway, and it comes back with a story. Some of those stories run for years. Three sizes are available, so the unicorn can be matched to the rider rather than guessed at.

The rider sits on the padded saddle, holds the handle, bounces, and pushes through the foot pedals underneath — the saddle and the pedals work together, a two-phase mechanism turns the two motions into forward travel, and the one-way wheels keep the zebra tracking straight instead of sliding backwards. Every child on the street has a scooter. Nobody else has a zebra. That is most of the appeal, and it holds up. Black-and-white stripes across a soft plush body, a short upright mane along the neck and a black-tufted tail — the way a real zebra is put together — a dark muzzle, a tan band across the chest, a black cuff of fur above each hoof, and a hand brake under the fingers. A wet afternoon indoors works as well as the patio. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first zebra.

PonyCycle® is the original ride-on unicorn toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Model Y adds a voice. Touch the sound unit and it answers with one of four sounds — which is all the encouragement a rider needs to start narrating out loud: the unicorn is being called, the unicorn is answering, the two of them are late for something important at the end of the hallway. A sparkling horn, a long mane and tail, glittering wings behind the saddle, and a fluffy cuff of fur above each hoof. Soft plush from nose to tail. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first unicorn.

PonyCycle® is the original ride-on horse toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Model Y adds a voice. Touch the sound box and it answers — four sounds, a gallop among them, usually arriving from the hallway a second or two before the pony does. For a child, it turns a ride down the corridor into something with a soundtrack. For a parent, it works as an early warning system, which turns out to be worth just as much. Soft tan plush, a long cream mane and tail, a white blaze down the nose, and a padded saddle with the foot pedals below. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first pony.

This is the Size 5, the top of the size range: for riders aged 7 and up, to 176 lbs. It is what a rider moves onto once they have outgrown a Size 4 — which is usually the point at which a family finds out how long one of these lasts.

PonyCycle® is the original ride-on unicorn toy that moves forward as a child bounces — no batteries, no motor. Model X is the show pony. This is the series where the plush, the mane and the finishing get the attention, and it ships double-boxed so the delivery does not give the surprise away. White plush, a long flowing mane with a strand of sheer lilac running through it, a crown of purple flowers set behind a spiralled glittering horn, a purple vine embroidered along the flank, a lilac bow at the tail, and long soft fur above each hoof. It takes about three minutes to finish assembling once it is out of the box. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first unicorn.

Sooner or later a horse-mad child asks for a real one. This is the answer that fits through a doorway. Rich brown plush, a long blonde mane and tail that swing as the pony moves, long soft fur above each hoof, a saddle set over a bright blanket, and a hand brake they will use long before you remind them to. It becomes a stable in the corner of the bedroom, a grooming routine invented from scratch, and a firm position on what the pony is called. Riding happens indoors on wet days and out on the patio when it is dry. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first pony.

This is the series where the plush, the mane and the finishing get the attention, and it ships double-boxed so the delivery does not give the surprise away. A silver glittering horn, a rainbow mane and tail long enough to be brushed, an embroidered flourish along the flank, a bow at the tail, and rainbow fur above each hoof. It takes about three minutes to finish assembling once it is out of the box. Two sizes are available — one for a first rider, one for a child who has already outgrown their first unicorn.

It arrives partly assembled, takes about three minutes to finish, and then it simply works.
