Fast Delivery on this top quality umbrella. I like these crank-tilt umbrellas. The last one we had, that was replaced by this one, worked for over 15 years. The only reason we replaced it is that the cord which is used eventually fails and they are impossible to replace without completely disassembling the center pole with no way to put it back together unless you have the press pins and a tool to replace them. So, in 15 years I will have to replace this one again I suppose. The Sunbrella fabric was in great condition on the old one, only because we covered the umbrella with a high-quality umbrella cover.... the cover is the key to the longevity. This is by far the best market umbrella I’ve ever owned. I opted for the sunbrella fabric as it’s heavier than the other fabrics I’ve owned in the past (and did not last as long).This umbrella has a bronze colored pole and is operated by a hand crank although it does have an auto tilt feature. The auto tilt is amazing as you slowly keep cranking after the umbrella is fully extended, the auto tilt engages and the umbrella will automatically tilt. Once you start cranking in the opposite direction to close the umbrella, the auto tilt disengages and the umbrella stands upright so you can finish closing it. This is a fabulous table but there were some issues that could have been avoided. Firstly, the table is extremely heavy, weighing in at 80 lbs. Therefore, it's extremely sturdy. The white did look a little yellowish in places, as if it had been exposed to extreme sunlight somewhere. It's not noticeable so it's not a dealbreaker. The table was easy to put together BUT, buyer beware. The instructions were easy to follow. When I tried to put on the two base pieces, I couldn't get the screw holes to line up at all on one side. It didn't matter what I did, but they didn't line up. I called Wayfair and the sent me two replacement base pieces. Same thing happened. I called them again and I received an email saying I could get a refund or a replacement if I shipped the table back in the original packaging ("or any 108" box will do..."). I emailed them and said that I didn't have the packaging. I put it out for the recycling that morning and refused to purchase a 108" box. They emailed me back, saying they would send me a replacement table. I received the table and the same thing happened. I donated the replacement and decided I would buy some HDPE glue and live with the original table. I then received the table from the person I donated the table to. They mentioned that they had managed to screw the table together by screwing everything really loosely and pulling on the base pieces to get everything to line up. I tried it and it worked. Nowhere in the instructions did it suggest that you should do this. It would have been helpful if customer service had this information so they could have suggested it and avoided the aggravation.
