I'm giving 5 stars for Wayfair's customer service when things weren't right. the thought of sending this back made me frustrated knowing it would be a pain. So we set out to do our best. This product had issues from the beginning. Missing several holes for assembly. Luckily my hubby is handy and was able to drill the holes and we used other screws to assemply. It required lots of patience and muscle to put it together because things didn't line up exactly in several areas. Now that it is together it is very nice and strong. I contacted Wayfair Customer Service- used the chat explained my experience and they fairly compensated me whicih is what I was hoping for. Originally, I ordered the 66” unfinished but the 56” was delivered (upon measuring it we found it is really 53”-that was disappointing) . Wayfair was willing to switch it out for the 66” but also gave us an option of refunding the difference. We decided to take the refund due to having company coming and wanted the porch finished. I did a light spray paint to give it a washed paint look to match the antique metal chairs and table we have. The swing also comes with cup holders on each side that you need a smaller sized glass or cup to fit into the opening, regardless, it is a great option. It was easy to assemble and well constructed and with the chaise cushion we added gives a very comfortable to sit or lay down. I love the appearance using ropes to hang the chair. Overall, very happy with this 4-seat porch swing. It was the perfect fit to replace the old individual swings on the kids' swingset. Easy assembly - back / bottom come preassembled, just attach the two parts together with the supplied bolts/washers/nuts, add the arm supports and then the arms. Simple with 2 people, doable by a single person. Will need a square bit driver for the screws that attach the arms to the upright supports. Highly recommend a drill or equivalent with the square bit (not included) for attaching these screws - could be done with a square bit screwdriver, if needed though. Only wish they pre-drilled pilot holes in the top of arm supports to make things a bit easier - the holes are already there in the arms. For all the carriage bolts/nuts, you'll need a deep 1/2" socket or a box wrench. Chains were a good length - even had a bit extra leftover when hanging from a 9' high crossbeam. The quick links provided to connect the chains to the top attachment points seem a bit thin compared to the chain but had a 660lb rating for each and should be able to handle the rated 800lb capacity of the swing bench. However, the screw-in eye bolts provided would leave me a bit concerned having that full load hanging it from it. My crossbeam already had 1/2"x 8" through-bolts in place @ 8ft apart so I opted to just reuse those. A tip for those that want to recline a bit, the two chains that attach on each side are the same length for front/back. We found the bench to be more comfortable if we attached the front chains on each side at the 3rd link from the end to the bolts on the sides. Provided just the right amount of recline when sitting - using the end link felt more like sitting in a dining room chair. We had a few minor imperfections in the slats on the seat and back - looked like damage from something that was poked into the box the swing shipped in, not from manufacturing. I opted to use some 400grit sandpaper to smooth those out and also take off a few random rough edges. Overall, the wood and woodworking were good quality. We chose to keep ours unfinished and let it weather to a nice gray over time. We could comfortably seat 4 people on the swing. The seat portion does have some flex to it when putting a 220lb person directly in the middle. But even with 600+ lbs on it, the amount of flex wasn't concerning. Short of redesigning the bottom framing with a more substantial single full-width piece, I'm not sure how this could be addressed for a bench that is 7' wide and only hanging from the outside edges.. Sitting on this outdoor porch swing on a pious and tranquil day. Feels like you are exposed to a natural mattress, breathing together with nature. There seems someone murmuring. What stable structure? The capacious swing is suitable for three people to sit on.

I love the swing, but found out that one of the boards under the seat was cracked almost all the way through. (Double check everything before putting it together because it looked like a darker grain in the board.) They have reached out to the manufacturer since it was most likely something that happened during their process. It seems really sturdy and it's adjustable to different heights. It was so hard to choose which color since there were so many options and we don’t necessarily have a wood tone theme but Walnut is perfect. Delivery was so fast. It was packaged really well. My husband purchased a thick cedar beam and screwed it to the top ceiling of our back porch. We purchased additional hardware to extend the height (we’re short). Installation was super easy. We can tell it was built with care. Description says the weight limit is 400 pounds – that’s probably to be on the safe side but I definitely feel it can hold more. My little toddler loves this swing just as much as I do. The back seat is high which makes it so comfortable to lean back and rest. It is weather and pest resistant which is such a bonus! I have always wanted a hanging porch swing at my house and now I finally got one! It is so good for the soul to just sit on your porch, drinking a cup of coffee, listening to the birds, reading a book and/or just relax. For this, it is priceless.. Jessika. Washington. I’m unsatisfied with this product. After the sliding bench arrived and the first assembly guy unpacked the box we discovered a very noticeable split in the composite wood front slate. It should have never been packed and shipped. I immediately contacted Wayfair and had a replacement part sent. When the replacement part arrived the second assembly guy discovered two other parts were cracked or split. Consequently, I immediately recontacted Wayfair while the assembly guy was present and asked for a refund. This is an inferior product. *WARNING *Don’t purchase this product! I wasted my time.
