Very easy to install and look great. I have been living with door stops for uneven doors for the past 8 years- finally got a quote for repair that was outrageous, and decided I'd go this route instead. I got the brass color (which is an antique/aged brass tone- not the bronze color pictured) and am considering using some rub and buff to make the silver magnets the same tone... however it still looks good with the two tones. One thing to note- to take the smaller piece apart for screwing in, you'll need to push in the middle silver piece and hold it against the back with your thumb and pointer finger to turn. An elegant and very efficient and effective way to hold the doors in place, very easy to fit in place I did it by myself and with minimal hassle. We replaced 5 doors with it as it match other new hinges etc, the wind doesn’t move the doors, very quite to use when open the door . It is a great addition to any home renovation. Was a bit unsure if this door holder would be suitable for my needs, but was pleasantly surprised. There is enough resistance from the magnet to hold the door open and have a little resistance when closing, but not enough to make it hard to close the door. It does make a clicking noise when the door swings open, but it doesn’t bother me. I did opt to use my own double sided tape instead of the screws on the floor piece which has worked well. The low profile is a nice feature and works well with our robot vacuum. I wish the catch on the floor was the same color as the rest of the door holder, but overall it doesn’t bother me.. Amanda.
