Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. This is the same (or very similar) picture molding available in big box stores for a fraction of the price. Its also extremely easy to work with and can be cut with miter shears instead of having to go back and forth to a saw. What a time saver! I bought this to replace the mdf mouldimg that our builder installed in our house and that is comparable to cardboard in my opinion. If something bumps the mdf, chunks just chip off. This mouldimg is amazing!! It’s practically indestructible and looks beautiful.
