I always thought camera bird feeders were cool but I didn’t think I would need or want one, what’s the point when I can watch them myself? I must say I am so happy I finally got one! I mounted my “Birdfy Feeder Ebony - Wooden Smart Bird Feeder” on a cedar post in my front yard, and it’s been amazing watching all the different birds that visit throughout the day. I never realized how much activity I was missing until I could see everything up close! The birds found it quickly and have been visiting regularly! I also am finding I don’t have to fill it as often as I thought, the bird food reservoir holds quite a bit! The camera quality is excellent, and I love getting notifications or just being able to go through them at my leisure. The AI bird identification is usually very accurate, and the app makes it easy to save photos and videos. The app is cool too because there is a “community” feature where you can see other people’s photos they’ve shared. The solar panel is a great addition, and it’s been well worth it. I haven’t had to worry about charging the feeder, even with frequent use. I did paint the wood with a varnish to protect it from the elements as recommended. If you’re thinking about buying a smart bird feeder, I can’t recommend Birdfy enough. Well made feeder, attractive looking, and easy to set up and install.. Erinleslie313. Youngstown, OH.
